American Color Labs is looking for a production assistant. Ideal candidate should be well versed in Adobe Photoshop in order to prepare files for print.Candidate can operates printing and finishing equipment. Fulfills jobs for document duplication, printing,finishing, binding, lamination, and other process. Being a production assistant sets up and maintains machines and inventory of supplies. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Additionally, a production assistant performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Prepares finished documents for pick up or shipping. Records activities in applicable work order tracking systems and follows standard procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. typically report to a supervisor. The production assistant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
