AM Diversity Ventures is a strategy and creative firm that helps companies, founders, and storytellers find their next move and tell their story well. We're growing, and our founder is looking for a part-time Personal/Executive Assistant to help keep things running smoothly, especially over the next several months during a bicoastal transition between San Francisco and New York.

About the role

You'd work directly with our founder, who moves fast and juggles a lot. We're looking for someone organized and proactive who can stay a step ahead, not someone who needs close managing.

Day to day, this looks like: managing the calendar and scheduling, coordinating travel and helping with an upcoming move (including the logistics and address changes that come with it), triaging email, keeping files and tasks organized, and handling the small but draining things that otherwise pile up. Some weeks lean more personal, some more work — it flexes.

Who you probably are

You like making things run well. You're reliable, you anticipate what's needed before being asked, and nothing falls through the cracks with you. You're discreet and trustworthy, since you'll be close to both the work and the personal side. You're comfortable with the everyday tools (calendar, docs, email, Zoom) and quick to pick up new ones, including AI tools we use day to day. And ideally, you actually want meaningful part-time work that fits your life, not a placeholder until something full-time comes along.

The details

  • Around 10-12 hours a week, flexible
  • Hybrid: mostly remote, with the option to use our Oakland coworking space
  • Bay Area based, for occasional in-person help and errands
  • 2+ years supporting a founder, executive, or small team is ideal
  • Must be authorized to work in the US (this role doesn't offer visa sponsorship)
  • Bonus: comfortable with LinkedIn and happy to help keep our presence active
