What you'll do
- Guide customers through the entire buying process, from first hello to delivery, and make it honest and easy
- Know the Ford lineup cold features, towing and payload, financing, and how each vehicle fits a customer's work and life
- Follow up relentlessly with leads, past customers, and internet inquiries a lot of our business comes from doing this well
- Coordinate test drives, appraisals, and trade-ins
- Hit and exceed monthly unit and gross targets
- Keep your CRM clean and your pipeline full
- Represent AM Ford in the community with integrity
What we're looking for
- A closer with a great attitude and genuine hustle
- Strong communication and people skills — you build trust quickly
- Self-motivated and coachable; you take feedback and run with it
- Comfortable with technology (CRM, digital retailing tools, texting/email follow-up)
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Sales experience preferred but not required we'll train the right person with the right drive

Responsibilities:
Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs
Selling a minimum number of vehicles based on the goals and objectives defined by the sales manager
Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively
Offering test drives to all prospects and following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification prior to test drive
Requirements:
Automotive sales background preferred
Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
Strong written and communication skills
Valid driver's license required and clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
