Role Description The Environmental Health Safety Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Eden Prairie, MN. This role is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs and procedures in a manufacturing environment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting workplace inspections and risk assessments, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The coordinator will maintain EHS documentation, track performance metrics, and support training initiatives for team members on safety practices, emergency response, and environmental responsibilities. The role also collaborates with operations, maintenance, and leadership to drive a culture of safety, reduce hazards, and promote sustainable environmental practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety, including risk assessment, hazard identification, and implementation of safety programs.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Environmental Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS), including regulatory compliance, environmental reporting, and pollution prevention initiatives.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Health, including ergonomics awareness, injury prevention, and support for wellness and occupational health initiatives.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive environments, with knowledge of OSHA and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
• Ability to develop and deliver safety and environmental training, communicate clearly across all levels, and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and analytical skills, including experience with incident reporting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional certifications (e.g., OSHA training, safety or environmental certifications) are beneficial.

This is an ONSITE role, remote work is not available.
