Job description

Airtech Mechanical Heating & Cooling is hiring a Lead HVAC Installer to join our growing team in Livonia, Michigan.

We are looking for an experienced HVAC professional who can lead residential and light commercial installations while maintaining high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. This position offers year-round work, competitive pay, company vehicle opportunities, and advancement potential.
Responsibilities
  •  Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, mini-split systems, and water heaters 
  •  Lead installation crews and train junior installers 
  •  Complete residential and light commercial HVAC installations 
  •  Read blueprints and equipment specifications 
  •  Perform startup, testing, and commissioning of installed systems 
  •  Ensure all work meets local codes and manufacturer requirements 
  •  Maintain a clean and professional job site 
  •  Communicate effectively with customers and office staff 
  •  Complete installation paperwork and job documentation 
Requirements
  •  Minimum 2 years HVAC installation experience 
  •  EPA Certification Required 
  •  Valid Driver's License with clean driving record 
  •  Ability to lift 75+ pounds 
  •  Experience with furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, boilers, and ductwork 
  •  Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills 
  •  Ability to work independently and manage installation projects 
Preferred Qualifications
  •  NATE Certification 
  •  Sheet metal fabrication experience 
  •  Boiler installation experience 
  •  Mini-split installation experience 
  •  Crew leadership experience
