ReportingdirectlytothePresident,AssemblyMaterialsDivision,theNorthAmericaSalesDirectorisresponsibleforleadingthesalesteam,createtheorganization'ssalesstrategyanddriverevenuegrowth.ThisrolefocusesonmanagingandholdingaccountableaNorthAmericanSalesteamtoimplementeffectivesalesprocesses,tools,andtechniquestoachievedefinedperformancemetricswhilefosteringstrongcustomerrelationshipsandidentifyingopportunitiesforbusinessexpansion.Theincumbentalsomonitorsindustrytrends,competitoractivity,andcustomersneedstocreatestrategicactionplansthatstrengthencustomerretentionandsupportcontinuedgrowth.

ThispositioncanbebasedinRhodeIsland,ElPasoorMontreal.

TheNorthAmericaSalesDirector-USA,CanadaandMexico'sresponsibilitiesincludebutarenotlimitedto:

• DirectlymanagingthesalesforceteamofacrossNorthAmericaincludinghiring,terminations,settingtargets,training,andreviewingtheirwork;
• WorkingcloselywiththePresidenttosetgoalsandholdthesalesforceaccountablebyfrequentassessments;
• CoordinatingsaleseffortsandprovidingassistanceandguidanceatpotentialandexistingaccountsthroughoutNorthAmerica;
• WorkingcloselywiththePresidenttodrivegrossmargingrowth;
• Establishingthecorporateguidelinesforsalesactivities;
• WorkingwiththeBusinessDevelopmentTeamindeveloping,promoting,andmaintainingacohesiveworkethictowardsstrategicaccounts;
• EnsuringfluentandefficientcoordinationwithbetweenallSalesManagers;
• Assistingthemarketingdepartmenttodevelopeffectivemarketingprograms;
• Preparingforecastinginformation;
• Participatinginpricingapprovaltoensureprofitabilityandsustainabilityoftheaccounts;
• Managingthesalesteamexpensesefficiently;
• Interfacingwithcreditdepartmentasnecessary;
• Attendingindustrytradeshows;
• Effectivelymanagingthedistributorandmanufacturers'representativeprograms.

Qualifications:

• Candidatesshouldhaveathoroughunderstandingofsolderingmaterialsandtheelectronicassembly(PCBA)processesaswellasknowledgeandexperienceofthedecision-makingprocesswithinthesecomplexpotentialcustomers.
• Candidateshouldhaveaprovenrecordofsellingandmanagingconsumableproductswithintheindustrypreferablywithsolderandassemblymaterials.
• Candidateshouldpossessaminimumof10yearsbackgroundinsalesand3+yearsinmanagingasalesforceinNorthAmericawithaprovenrecordofunderstandinghowtoplanandexecutesalesandmarketingtacticsandprograms.Experienceintheseareasshouldbewithinthepast2years;
• MustbeabletotravelwithinNorthAmericaonaregularbasis;
• Undergraduatedegreeorabove;
• FluencyinEnglish,SpanishandFrenchwouldbeanasset;
• ExcellentknowledgeofthecultureoftheNorthAmericanmarket.
