A bookkeeping and tax service firm located in Los Alamitos, Orange County, is seeking a Part-Time Tax Accountant.

Responsibilities including, but not limited to

• Prepare and file individual tax returns accurately and on time
• Conduct tax research to support compliance and planning
• Assist with payroll processing and record-keeping
• Support form filling and perform other general office duties as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution (Business major preferred but not required)
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. or have a valid U.S. work permit
• Fluency in both English and Chinese is a must (Please do not apply if you are not bilingual)
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to new environments
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks while paying attention to detail
• Adhere strictly to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure all processes are followed with accuracy
• Previous experience in accounting and/or the tax industry is a plus, but not required
• College graduate with at least one year of work experience (experience does not need to be related to accounting)
• Able to work afternoon shift

Knowledge of QuickBooks, Lacerte, AME System is a plus, but not required.

Experiences in Payroll/Personal Tax is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay : $20-27 per hour
• Part-Time Schedule: 20-25 hours per week during non tax season; 25-29.5 hours during tax season
