Job Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor will understand maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.
They will be responsible for the team ensuring that all members are trained properly and follow through with the process that is in place in the maintenance department. Build a culture of trust and unity.
Will be responsible for following the UAW CBA, and Acciona Employee handbook processes and policies.
Ensuring that that maintenance department communicates clearly and promptly with client.
Supervisor Duties/Responsibilities:
· Ensures, Inspects and identifies equipment, areas of facility, or machines in need of repair.
· Supports team in troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs.
· Ensures repair work using building’s blueprints or equipment manual as needed and completed
· Updates tickets and audits completed work as needed.
· Ensure that if specialized technician is required that it is approved, sourced and completed in a timely manner with updates to manager and client. Examples may include repairing HVAC, dock doors, plumbing, special fixtures or equipment.
· Ensure maintenance is proactive and not reactive with routine maintenance inspections on building systems.
· Ensures clear communication with team members.
· Weekly safety and team meetings
· Ensures that discipline is timely and CBA is followed
· Approves time for team members in DayForce
· Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance following appropriate process.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Safety, Compliance & Standards
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies.
- Promote safe work practices and ensure technicians follow established safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and compliance records.
- Support audits, inspections, and corrective action plans related to maintenance, safety, or regulatory compliance.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to follow instructions from Management or senior leadership.
· Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and general repairs.
· Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Computer skills
· Strong communication skills
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Certification in HVAC, plumbing or general maintenance
· 3+ years experience preferred.

Physical, Licensing & Compliance Requirements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing, warehouse, and outdoor environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, and move throughout the facility to perform essential job functions.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles, forklifts, and golf carts as required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
