Job description

We believe in the power of a talented group of people with the intention to make a difference, focused on achieving a common goal, and breaking down barriers to make it happen. The core of our business - and our differentiation - is our team-centric culture and our cutting edge operations. We support our clinicians with the best culture and tools, allowing them to do their work efficiently and with joy. This results in better continuity of care and long-term results.
We are looking for a Behavioral Therapist/Paraeducator to join our team and work with special education students to provide additional support and guidance to help students understand the academic work and undergo behavior modifications.
Paraeducator responsibilities include providing administrative support to teachers, monitoring a child's development, and preparing education materials for daily programs.
Ultimately, you will work with special education students to help them understand their classroom lessons.
Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to teachers and professionals
  • Carry out additional tasks as required of the job
  • Monitor and manage children, particularly those with specific needs
  • Prepare educational materials and instructions for daily programs
  • Ensure a clean and safe classroom at all times

Requirements and skills
  • Proven work experience as a Paraeducator or similar role
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Great interpersonal and social skills
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills
  • Excellent in handling and managing children
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Paraeducator
