Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Project Manager to assist with the planning and execution of a full-scale distribution facility relocation in Goshen, Indiana. This role will work closely with the location manager in coordinating all aspects of the transition, including operational continuity, layout design, vendor coordination, inventory movement, and post-move stabilization.

This position requires warehouse and project management knowledge, strong organization, and follow-up to help ensure a seamless and efficient transition with minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the warehouse relocation project through completion. Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones
• Assist in coordinating cross-functional efforts with operations, IT, transportation, and leadership teams
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for:
• • Equipment installation
  • Renovation
  • Racking and material handling systems
  • Transportation and logistics
  • Wherever needed
  • Transportation and logistics support
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on project status and key metrics
• Support post-move operational ramp-up and process optimization

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in warehouse and project management or distribution operations
• Proven experience managing or assisting with warehouse and office moves, facility startups, or large-scale operations projects is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated project management experience (formal training or certification a plus)
• Ability to assist in coordinating cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work onsite and travel locally as needed throughout the project

Preferred Experience

• Experience in industrial distribution environments
• Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in warehouse operations

Work Environment & Expectations

• Onsite role supporting active warehouse operations and relocation activities
• May require extended hours during key phases of the move
