Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Practice:Provide comprehensive care for patients with headache and facial pain disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Utilize procedural skills, including OnabotulinumtoxinA injections, peripheral nerve blocks, and trigger point injections.
  • Education:Actively participate in the teaching and mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical students. Deliver lectures and contribute to the academic development of the Headache Medicine Fellowship program.
  • Research:Engage in clinical research initiatives aimed at advancing the understanding and treatment of headache disorders. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement research projects, with opportunities to present and publish findings.

The Headache Medicine Fellowship at Wright State University\u2019s Boonshoft School of Medicine provides comprehensive training in headache and facial pain management. Fellows gain extensive clinical exposure, advanced procedural skills, and research opportunities, all within a supportive academic environment. The Clinical Neuroscience Institute (CNSI) is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary neuroscience program that offers total neurologic care for patients and their families in Southwestern Ohio. Job Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in primary specialty.
  • Fellowship trained in Headache Medicine.
  • UCNS certification in Headache Medicine.
  • Demonstrated interest and experience in academic medicine, including teaching and research.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
