The Assistant Teacher collaborates closely with the Lead Teacher and Director to create a secure, supportive, and enriching learning environment. As a key team member, they must be an effective communicator, dedicated to delivering engaging developmentally appropriate activities. Key aspects of the role include ensuring the children's well-being, building strong relationships with families, and contributing to the overall delivery of the school's curriculum.

• Engage children in curricula activities, fostering their active participation.
• Participate in activities, maintaining a clean, organized, and accessible classroom environment.
• Establish open communication channels with parents through regular discussions and progress updates.
• Model self-help and good hygiene practices to promote these habits in children.
• Streamline daily transitions from home to the child care center.
• Comply with all center policies and state regulations at all times.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance teaching skills.

• At least 1-2 years of professional child care experience, although not mandatory.
• High energy levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as basic computer skills.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass a full background check.
