This highly regarded IP group has been steadily growing as they continue to attract sophisticated work from an impressive roster of high-tech clients.  We are currently looking for a patent agent with a strong technical background in electrical and/or computer engineering.  This is a very team oriented, friendly, and cooperative environment wherein talent is matched with opportunity and team members are entrusted with substantial client interaction. and must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
There is an abundance of challenging and sophisticated work here, thus you will be exposed to a diverse array of electrical and computer related applications (industrial control systems, consumer electronics, biomedical devices and instrumentations, analog and digital circuits, RF, WiFi, wireless telecommunications, network protocols, IEEE standards, network security and protocols, artificial intelligence (AI), web and cloud services, etc.)
The focus of the work will primarily relate to the preparation and prosecution of patents for domestic and foreign clients while also supporting practice needs in other related areas (e.g., patentability, infringement, and freedom to operate opinions; portfolio strategy and management; due diligence; litigation support; Patent Trial and Appeal Board issues).
Patent Agent Requirements:
   *  Minimum BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.  Prior engineering experience is a plus.
   *  Must have at least 2 years of full time claim drafting and patent prosecution experience with a reputable law firm.
   *  USPTO bar.
   *  Must possess excellent interpersonal skills suitable for substantial client interaction.
   *  Strong academic credentials
