Yard Truck Operator

As a Yard Operator, you will help maintain an organized and efficient yard by managing the movement, location, and condition of ISO tanks and trailers. If you enjoy hands-on work and want to contribute to a growing operation, A-Gas offers an opportunity to build a rewarding career.
Key Responsibilities
- S afely operate yard truck to move ISO tanks and Van Trailers as required to support operations .
- Receive, inspect & check-in or out ISO tanks using required standards & record in the Company's internal proprietary system ( Cyltrak ) .
- Load & unload chassis with ISO tanks as required .
- Regularly inspect ISO tanks & chassis and maintain records of recertification dates, as well as communicate to appropriate personnel when recertification dates are approaching.
- Maintain records of the locations of ISO tanks in the yard & on the ground.
- Maintain cleanliness & organization of the yard truck(s) and the Rhome yard(s) as required by internal standards
- Assist Process Operator 1 with production needs as directed.
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to obtain HazMat Certification and EPA 608 Certification
- Experience in operating a yard truck, box truck or other heavy equipment
- Previous experience with Pumps, Hose, Compressors, PS M , and Lockout Tag Out
- Experience with Microsoft 365, including Excel/Word
- Great communication skills to support plant operations
Shift Work Expectations
- Monday – Friday ; 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
