Description:

A First Name Basis is one of the fastest-growing in-home care providers in the region, with 40+ offices across four states. We’re reimagining what it means to serve seniors and individuals with disabilities—by building strong caregiver careers, implementing smart clinical and scheduling systems, and ensuring compliance and care quality are never compromised.


We are seeking a Recruiter for our corporate office in Plano, Texas. This is a hybrid role of 3 days a week in office.


The Recruiter is a proactive, results-oriented professional with deep expertise in sourcing passive candidates, navigating complex hiring needs, collaborating with hiring managers, and using data to optimize recruitment processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for entry level positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and Sr. Recruiter to understand staffing needs, develop tailored hiring strategies, and provide consultative guidance on talent market trends, compensation benchmarks, and candidate pipelines.
  • Proactively source using Indeed Smart Sourcing and LinkedIn.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial phone/video interviews, assess candidate fit, and present high-quality slates to hiring teams while maintaining a high interview-to-hire ratio.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, transparent feedback, and personalized engagement throughout the process.
  • Stay current on recruiting trends, labor market shifts, DEI best practices, and compliance requirements (e.g., EEOC, OFCCP if applicable).
  • Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) workflows, maintain accurate candidate records, and leverage tools like LinkedIn, job boards, CRM systems, and AI-assisted recruiting platforms.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of progressive recruiting experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully filling hard-to-fill or high-volume roles.
  • Strong expertise in full-cycle recruiting and advanced sourcing techniques, including passive candidate engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels (candidates, hiring managers, executives).
  • Proficiency with recruiting tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Paylocity, Smart Sheets, Boolean search, video interviewing tools).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment while maintaining high attention to detail and compliance standards.
