Job Title:Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location:Graniteville,SC,US

Onsite

Salary: $100,000 – $130,000/year

Bonus: 10% target annually

Job Summary

Seeking a **Senior Mechanical Engineer** to lead mechanical engineering and capital projects within a heavy industrial plant. Projects range from **$50K to $5M**, covering design, fabrication, FAT, commissioning, and startup.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage capital projects up to **$5M** from design through commissioning.
  • Develop and manage drawings using **AutoCAD Mechanical, Inventor, and Vault**.
  • Lead **machine FAT, startup, and commissioning** activities.
  • Create/manage **BOMs and spare-parts requirements**.
  • Perform equipment/project **risk assessments** and implement safety measures.
  • Manage vendors and **external contractors**.
  • Provide mechanical engineering support and drive continuous improvement.
Must-Haves
  • Capital project management experience up to **$5M**.
  • **Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling** and **Autodesk Vault** experience.
  • Machine **FAT and commissioning** experience.
  • Heavy industrial plant engineering background.
  • **BOM management** experience.
  • Equipment risk assessment experience.
  • External contractor management experience.
Work Environment:

Approximately 80% production floor; high-temperature, high-noise environment with heavy machinery.
