Position Summary
We are seeking a relationship-driven Sales Manager to grow our presence in the AEC market.
This is not transactional sales. This is about building long-term partnerships—bringing in the right clients who align with our purpose, our culture, and our commitment to delivering real outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Drive Growth
  • Build and manage a strong AEC-focused pipeline
  • Generate new opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach
  • Partner with leadership on strategic accounts and growth initiatives
Lead with Relationships
  • Build trusted relationships with AEC executives and decision-makers
  • Understand business challenges beyond IT
  • Position 5 Factor as a long-term strategic partner
Consult amp; Close
  • Translate client needs into tailored solutions (IT, CADD, InfoSec)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver aligned, high-quality proposals
  • Focus on long-term client fit—not just closing deals
Build Market Presence
  • Represent 5 Factor at industry events and within the AEC community
  • Strengthen brand awareness and credibility
Own Results
  • Maintain strong pipeline discipline and forecasting accuracy
  • Ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery
  • Take full accountability for outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience selling into the AEC industry or Marketing/BD experience with AEC firm preferred
  • Strong consultative, relationship-based selling skills
Preferred
  • MSP or Technology services sales experience preferred
  • Understanding of AEC workflows (CADD, project delivery, utilization)
  • Existing industry network
