What You'll Do

As a QA/QC Technician, you'll be responsible for monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process and helping ensure every product meets strict food safety and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Perform quality inspections, sampling, and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods

✅ Conduct laboratory testing, including pH analysis and product evaluations

✅ Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, and food safety requirements

✅ Complete routine production line inspections and document quality results

✅ Verify product weights, labels, sanitation practices, and allergen controls

✅ Support product release activities and maintain retain samples

✅ Assist with internal and external food safety audits

✅ Maintain accurate quality records and laboratory documentation

✅ Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment

✅ Work closely with production teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about food quality.

✔️ Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Dairy Technology, or a related field

✔️ Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a food manufacturing environment preferred

✔️ Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF/BRC, and food safety regulations

✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

✔️ Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities

✔️ Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production teams

✔️ Proficiency with Microsoft Office

✔️ Strong written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements

✔️ Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift

✔️ Ability to lift up to 20 lbs when required

✔️ Comfortable working in both production and refrigerated environments

✔️ Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
