About the Position:
We are seeking a Certified Windows Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our Microsoft Windows server and desktop environments. The ideal candidate will have experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, virtualization platforms, and enterprise infrastructure services. This role is responsible for ensuring system availability, security, performance, and compliance with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Administer and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Support virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware.
- Perform system patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation.
- Configure and maintain file servers, print servers, and storage systems.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security best practices.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and operational standards.
- Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support for Windows-related issues.
- Assist with cloud integration initiatives, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
Required Qualifications:
- Microsoft certification such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- 3+ years of Windows Server administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows Server 2019/2022
- Active Directory
- DNS/DHCP
- Group Policy
- PowerShell scripting
- Hyper-V or VMware
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
- Experience with automation and infrastructure scripting.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ITIL, or Microsoft Azure certifications.
