About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Windows Server Administrator to join our IT team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience managing Microsoft Windows Server environments and working knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM).
This role will be responsible for maintaining server infrastructure, supporting endpoint management, ensuring system reliability, and assisting with ongoing IT projects.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Microsoft services.
- Administer and support SCCM/MECM for software deployment, patch management, operating system deployment, and endpoint management.
- Monitor server performance, security, and system availability.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM).
- Experience with:
- Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Active Directory.
- Group Policy.
- DNS and DHCP.
- PowerShell scripting.
- Server patching and security best practice.s
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Familiarity with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint security solutions.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.
