Job description

Job Description
Senior Recruiter

Location: Greater Philadelphia Area (Near KOP)

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Compensation: Approximately $90,000

The Opportunity

A well-established, mission-driven healthcare organization in the Greater Philadelphia area is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team.

This is an opportunity for an accomplished recruiter who enjoys owning the full recruiting lifecycle, building meaningful relationships with candidates and hiring leaders, and tackling a diverse mix of critical and hard-to-fill positions.

The Senior Recruiter will support hiring needs across multiple levels and functions within the organization, from frontline and professional talent through senior leadership and key organizational positions. This individual will play an integral role in identifying exceptional talent while delivering a thoughtful, engaging, and highly organized candidate experience.

The ideal candidate is a polished communicator, proactive relationship builder, and self-starter who is equally comfortable developing sourcing strategies, partnering with leadership, interviewing candidates, managing multiple searches, and navigating candidates through the hiring process.

What You'll Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for a diverse portfolio of positions across the organization.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and organizational leaders to understand business needs, define ideal candidate profiles, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Proactively source both active and passive candidates using LinkedIn, online platforms, professional networks, referrals, advanced search techniques, and other creative sourcing channels.
  • Recruit talent across varying levels of seniority, including professional, specialized, hard-to-fill, leadership, and key organizational positions.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates for technical qualifications, experience, communication skills, and organizational fit.
  • Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines for critical and recurring hiring needs.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
  • Deliver a positive and transparent candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Coordinate and support pre-employment and onboarding requirements as appropriate.
  • Extend and negotiate competitive offers while maintaining open communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Track recruiting activity and metrics and use data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, sourcing effectiveness, and the overall hiring process.
  • Identify recruiting challenges early and develop practical, solution-oriented approaches to keep searches moving forward.
  • Maintain compliant recruiting and hiring practices in accordance with organizational policies and applicable employment regulations.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting processes, candidate engagement, and hiring-manager experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Approximately 5-7+ years of progressive recruiting or talent acquisition experience, with demonstrated full-cycle recruiting ownership.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred/required in alignment with organizational qualifications.
  • Experience recruiting for a range of positions, including professional, leadership, senior-level, specialized, and/or hard-to-fill roles.
  • Demonstrated success with proactive and passive candidate sourcing, not solely applicant-driven recruiting.
  • Strong experience partnering directly with hiring managers and organizational leadership.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate-assessment skills.
  • Experience developing recruiting strategies and talent pipelines.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, hiring compliance, and recruitment best practices.
  • Experience with recruiting metrics, reporting, or data-driven process improvement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working onsite and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous recruiting experience within healthcare, behavioral health, medical, human services, or another regulated environment.
  • Experience recruiting both high-volume and specialized/hard-to-fill positions.
  • Experience supporting senior-level or executive searches.
  • Familiarity with regulated pre-employment, clearance, credentialing, or onboarding processes.
  • Professional recruiting or HR certification.

Who Will Thrive Here

You'll likely be successful in this position if you're someone who is:

  • Polished and credible when partnering with senior leaders.
  • A strong communicator who can build rapport quickly with a wide range of people.
  • A genuine self-starter who doesn't wait for candidates to come to you.
  • Relationship-driven and passionate about creating a positive candidate experience.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, particularly when managing multiple searches simultaneously.
  • Comfortable recruiting across different levels and functions rather than specializing in only one type of position.
  • Easygoing, adaptable, and solution-oriented when priorities or hiring needs change.
  • Motivated by working for an organization where successful hiring directly supports a larger mission.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This role offers the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on talent acquisition within an established, mission-driven organization. Rather than simply processing requisitions, you'll be able to build relationships, influence recruiting strategy, develop talent pipelines, solve challenging searches, and help shape the experience candidates and hiring leaders have throughout the hiring process.

If you're an experienced recruiter who enjoys the combination of relationship building, proactive sourcing, challenging searches, and full-cycle ownership, we'd welcome the opportunity to connect.

This search is being conducted confidentially. Additional information regarding the organization will be shared with qualified candidates as they progress through the evaluation process.
