Job TitleEssential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements:Interacts with new and existing customers to review design intent and determine viability of projects and propose cost effective product solutionsCoordinates and manages new product introductions, from concept to productionPlans and directs personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systemsDesigns products and systems to interface with machines, hardware, and software and protocolsProvide support to manufacturing by evaluating equipment and processesSupport corporate objectives related to patents, trademarks and marketing needsSkills Required/Experience Requirements:Mechanical and electrical product designProduct development and refinementProject managementCustomer interaction and communication skillsProduct manufacturing experienceProficient in design and manufacturability of various mediums (plastic, metal, etc.)Must be able to interface with customers, vendors, and manufacturing personnel in a dynamic environmentProficient in 3D CAD modeling (ProE/Creo preferred)Education RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technologies3 years experience in engineering or product developmentAdditional Senior Requirements:10 years experience in engineering or product developmentPhysical Requirements:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
