Job description

Job Summary

11400 LLC is a commercial construction and foodservice equipment specialist focused on K–12 and institutional projects. We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Field Manager to oversee field operations, support project execution, and gain the industry experience necessary to advance into future Project Management roles within the company.

This position is heavily field focused and requires regular daily travel to active jobsites, along with occasional overnight travel throughout NC, SC, GA, TN, WV, and VA based on project demands. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, mechanically inclined, and interested in developing a long term career in commercial construction and project management.

Responsibilities
  • Travel to multiple job sites daily to track progress and report status.
  • Assist Project Managers with onsite coordination, field verification, and project documentation
  • Perform site walks and report schedule updates, installation progress, and field conditions
  • Assist with punch list items, quality control inspections, and project closeout activities
  • Help identify and resolve field issues to keep projects moving efficiently
  • Maintain daily communication with Project Managers.
  • Provide hands on support onsite when needed, including measurements, light corrective work, and general project assistance
  • Manage multiple priorities and assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Adapt to changing project needs and assist with problem solving in both field and warehouse environments


Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Experience
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Southeast region
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic construction knowledge or mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
Education

Working Environment
  • Regular work performed on active construction sites and in warehouse environments
  • Frequent exposure to moving vehicles, mechanical equipment, changing weather conditions, temperature variations, dust, and moderate to loud noise levels
  • Extensive travel and time spent at jobsites throughout the Southeast region
  • Position may require standing, walking, climbing ladders, lifting materials, and working in active construction areas
  • All required personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided by the company
