Job description

Our client is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join their team in Yonkers, NY, specializing in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and residential HVAC systems. This includes service and maintenance of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, boilers, thermostats, and controls.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, water source heat pumps, cooling towers, package rooftops, split systems, controls, pumps, and VAVs
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematic drawings accurately
  • Deliver excellent customer service while addressing client needs
  • Apply strong problem‐solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
  • Maintain organization and attention to detail in all tasks
  • Work efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
  • Carry and climb ladders up to 40 feet
  • Participate in after‐hours on‐call rotation

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC Service Technician experience
  • High School diploma or GED required; technical school education preferred
  • EPA certification required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must pass drug test and background check
  • OSHA certification a plus (not required)
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks: climbing, carrying 75 lbs+, bending, reaching, kneeling, crawling, working at heights and in confined spaces
