Role Summary

FactSet is building deeper coverage in the Metals & Mining sector. We are looking for a Content/Research Manager to lead product and content development, research, and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce products and analyses for FactSet’s mining user base, focusing on assigned sub‑sectors and focus metals.
  • Oversee content and product management for the Metals & Mining team, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead idea generation, research, and thought‑leadership content across Metals & Mining and coordinate with cross‑sector teams.
  • Conduct research and analysis, build quantitative models that demonstrate the value of FactSet’s content.
  • Publish timely and relevant articles and insights tying industry developments into FactSet’s product suite.
  • Engage with high‑value clients, share research, and gather feedback to improve offerings.
  • Work with matrixed teams and build relationships with senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree; a mining engineering or geology degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Metals & Mining industry and capital markets.
  • Experience in product and content development and management.
  • Strong quantitative aptitude and understanding of economic and financial statement analysis.
  • Strong understanding of client workflows and FactSet client types.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, planning, and project‑management skills.
  • Exceptional collaboration, organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Detail‑oriented with ability to see the big picture and deliver products with urgency.
  • Self‑starter capable of working with minimal direction.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range for this position in NYC, Colorado, and Connecticut is $108k – $135k. Benefits include health, life, disability insurance, retirement plans, employee stock purchase program, paid time off, flexible work accommodations, wellness programs, and more.
