We’ve all been through at least one job search that makes us want to Hulk out. Unfortunately, superhuman strength won’t do much to help you land an interview – but there are a lot of superpowers that could.
If job hunting is your kryptonite, we know you’ll relate. Here are the best traits for a super-powered search.
1. Power Mimicry
Seek and imitate someone else’s powers…like the guy that interviewed right before you and left the office all smiles and confidence. No need to waste time preparing answers and practicing your perfect handshake when you can literally fake your confidence in an instant!
2. Invisibility
Stumped by an interview question? Call the hiring manager ‘mom’ by accident? Realize you had broccoli in your teeth the entire meeting? We’ve all been there, and these are situations that usually make us want to melt into a puddle of humiliation and re-evaluate all our life choices. Being able to disappear immediately instead of suffer through the aftermath would make dealing with these moments so much easier.
3. Mind Control
Instead of hoping and praying you’ll get an email next time you submit your resume, you could just will the employer to call you on the spot and offer you the job. Then you could make them double the salary, give you a corner office, do all your work…really, you may as well control your landlord’s mind and and avoid paying rent to save yourself the trouble.
4. Super Intelligence
This is a no-brainer (no pun intended). Although, with an IQ that high they might tell you you’re overqualified…
5. Super Speed
Race from your office to a job interview and be back before your boss even notices! Research companies and fill out their applications at lightning speed! Send out follow-up ‘thank you’ emails before you’ve even left the interview! Well, maybe not that last one. Use your powers wisely.
6. Flight
Okay, so this might not help your search directly. But who wouldn’t hire you if you could fly??
