ZipRecruiter is proud to announce the winner of our Creative Cover Letter Challenge! After carefully reviewing all entries, our judges decided on one that truly took cover-letter creativity to the next level.
The winner of our February 2016 Cover Letter Challenge is Latoria Gordon, for her original song about why she should be your next new hire!
Latoria is a full time student at Washington Adventist University, where she’s studying psychology. She’s passionate about eliminating the stigma against mental illness, and increasing awareness around the problems being faced by patients to help give them a voice.
Clearly Latoria has a pretty strong voice of her own – although music is just one of her hobbies, her song about working hard to be the best employee really impressed our judges!
In addition to her full course load, Latoria also works part-time as an administrative assistant. She’ll be using her winnings to put toward her loan, so she can focus on completing her education and getting started on opening her own practice.
For her winning submission, Latoria will be awarded a $1000 scholarship for school.
