ZipRecruiter closed up shop on Friday afternoon to enjoy some Cuatro de Mayo festivities.

On the agenda?

A delicious Mexican lunch followed by Marvel’s The Avengers.

Many companies refer to this type of an outing as “team building” or “organizational development.” We call it a fun Friday afternoon.

Working on Third Street Promenade in downtown Santa Monica has many perks, including all of the delicious dining options. Our lunch at La Sandia, a Richard Sandoval restaurant, included tasty margaritas, an assortment of regionally inspired guacamoles, and authentic Mexican specialties with a modern twist.

After lunch we wandered to the theater next door and contributed to the The Avengers‘ $200.3-million opening weekend.
