Job description

Overview We are currently looking for an ethanol production plant manager in Northeast South Dakota. This person will be responsible for implementing new projects and processesโ€”this includes helping with installations, troubleshooting, and development. An ideal candidate is someone who is hands-on and with experience working in a Production Facility. Responsibilities Develop complete layout and engineering drawings of a variety of components and assemblies such as schematics, interconnect lists and parts breakdown from notes, rough sketches or general instructions. Contribute design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation and product quality. Determine scaling, utilize necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning. Draft accurate as-built equipment drawings in an efficient manner. Coordinate plans, details and specifications with other vendors. Check drawings previously completed by the company or supplied by vendors. Generate fabrication and assembly definition documents. Support manufacturing and assembly operations to help realize design objectives. Create/maintain equipment data sheets and specifications for key equipment Position Qualifications Preferred Experience: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Engineering or similar with a minimum of 3 years\' experience working with process improvements. Skills and Abilities Creative conceptual design, structural layout, sizing, and detail design documentation. Performance of general engineering calculations including capacities, flow rates, power consumption, mass properties, strength requirements and thermal control requirements. Strong hands-on problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
