WAGE RANGE*: 95.00-100.00 PER HOUR

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with software integration and testing in an Agile CI/CD environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and test automation tools
  • Experience developing software within a relevant project domain (e.g., command and control ground systems or space-based ISR platforms)
  • Experience with hands-on integration and test engineering
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging software-based systems or products
  • Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Python, and/or Perl
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior Systems Engineer - Integration and Test within the command and control (C2) domain, supporting one of our premier programs in the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business units. In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T), we integrate, verify, and validate complex systems to ensure they meet mission requirements. In this role, you'll apply your expertise in developing test plans and procedures, debugging system functions and interfaces, building test environments, and collaborating with integration teams and customers to deliver high-quality solutions.
What You Will Do
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers to develop and deliver advanced ground systems solutions
  • Perform software and hardware integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team within the Command and Control (C2) domain
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues encountered during system integration and testing
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to support verification and validation activities
  • Debug software and hardware issues to ensure system performance, reliability, and functionality
  • Work collaboratively in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality integration and test solutions

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
  • Experience with satellite command and control (C2) systems
  • Experience working in a DevOps and/or DevSecOps environment using Agile development practices
  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Cucumber, Gherkin, and Zephyr
  • Experience with Java, C++, Python, Linux, and cloud-based environments
