Inner Zenith Wellness is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in Oyster Bay, New York. In this full-time role, you will provide vital therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of mental health issues. The position is primarily remote, ensuring flexibility while still being integrated into our community-focused operations.

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to create a detailed understanding of clients’ mental health conditions, personal histories, and goals.
• Offer individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy, tailored to client needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that set clear therapeutic goals and interventions, continually reassessing and adjusting as needed.
• Coordinate care with other professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to client treatment that encompasses all aspects of mental health.
• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions, provide risk assessments, and develop safety plans to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Document all therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans meticulously, adhering to established standards of practice and confidentiality regulations.
• Lead psychoeducational classes and support groups to further enrich clients’ therapeutic experiences and promote community support networks.

As an LMFT at Inner Zenith Wellness, you will interact with a diverse client base that includes individuals, couples, and families facing an array of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your strategy will be to employ personalized approaches to therapy that recognize and honor each client’s unique background and experiences, fostering a safe and supportive environment for open dialogue.

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatments and methodologies relevant to family and marriage counseling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect with clients and foster therapeutic relationships.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient service setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and group therapy facilitation.
• Prior work with diverse populations and varying socioeconomic backgrounds will be beneficial to your candidacy.
