Job Summary:
Zenith Infotek LLC is seeking an experienced IMS/IDMS Specialist to join their team in the Automotive domain. The role involves developing and maintaining applications using IMS DB/TM and IDMS, performing system analysis, and providing production support.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, develop, and maintain applications using IMS DB/TM and IDMS
โ€ข Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions
โ€ข Provide production support and resolve incidents promptly
โ€ข Ensure compliance with Ford standards, security protocols, and guidelines
โ€ข Prepare and maintain technical documentation
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Strong hands-on experience in IMS DB/TM and IDMS development & maintenance
โ€ข Proven experience working in the Ford environment (current or past)
โ€ข Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, and Mainframe utilities
โ€ข Experience with debugging tools and performance tuning
โ€ข Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and Agile practices
โ€ข Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
โ€ข Production support and incident resolution experience
Preferred:
โ€ข Automotive industry experience is highly preferred
โ€ข Knowledge of Ford-specific applications and business processes
โ€ข Experience with migration, modernization, or integration projects
โ€ข Ability to work effectively with global teams across NA and AP regions
