Position Summary

As a Front of House Team Member, you are the face of the Zaxbys brand and the

first (and often lasting) impression every guest receives. You are not simply

taking orders or ringing up sales—you are creating **encore experiences**.

Every interaction should leave the guest thinking, “That was better than I

expected. I’m coming back.”

This is a high-standard role. We hire people who take pride in excellence, move with

Key Responsibilities

·        

• Greet every guest promptly, warmly, and with genuine enthusiasm the moment they enter or approach the counter/drive-thru.      
• Master the full menu and our signature sauces so you can confidently describe items, answer questions, make recommendations, and suggest complementary items that elevate the meal.        
• Enter orders accurately and efficiently into the POS system (counter, drive-thru, call-in,and digital).·        
• Handle all transactions with precision—cash, cards, mobile payments—while maintainingstrict cash-handling standards and accountability.
• Deliver complete orders with energy and care, ensuring accuracy, presentation, and all accompaniments (sauces, utensils, etc.).       
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house environment always (dining room, counters, restrooms, exterior, and work stations).
• Stock and restock beverages, condiments, paper goods, and other FOH items proactively so the guest never has to wait.
• Assist with light food prep as needed (beverages, sauces, produce, sides) while strictly following food safety and quality standards.
• Represent the Zaxbys brand with pride—attitude, appearance, language, and energy should all reflect “be bold, be original, stay saucy.”      
• Support teammates across stations when needed and contribute to a positive, high-energy,team-first culture.·        
• Complete all required training (including Zaxbys Front-of-House Development Plan andhands-on station training) thoroughly and on time.        
• Uphold safety, sanitation, and operational excellence standards without compromise.     
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism, ownership, and a solution-oriented mindset.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum age: 16

(or per local law).

·        

• Reliable
• transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights,weekends, and peak periods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills—clear, friendly, and confident.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and accuracy.   
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and operating a POS system (training provided).     
• Genuine hospitality, mindset and a positive, energetic attitude.        
• Willingness to learn the full menu, brand standards, and operational procedures thoroughly.·        
• Ability to standfor extended periods, move quickly, and perform light physical tasks (lifting, stocking, cleaning).
• Alignment with Zaxbys mission, values, and high standards of excellence and accountability.

Preferred

(not required, but highly valued):

• Previous guest-facing or restaurant experience.
• Proven track record of reliability, teamwork, andexceeding expectations.
• Passion for creating memorable experiences and representing a brand with pride.
