Job description

Want to drive the coolest ride in the building?ย  We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Zamboni Driver to help us keep the ice smooth, the arena looking great, and our skaters happy.

Whether itโ€™s hockey, figure skating, public skate, or a big game, great ice makes all the difference and thatโ€™s where you come in!

Your Main Mission: Keep Things Cool, Clean & Running Smoothly

You will help create great ice, keep the arena safe and clean, and make sure everything is ready for the next group to hit the rink.

  • Operate the Zamboni or Olympia to resurface and maintain high-quality ice
  • Monitor ice conditions and handle edging, patching, and adjustments as needed
  • Complete basic equipment checks, cleaning, refueling, and maintenance
  • Help keep locker rooms, lobbies, restrooms, benches, and arena areas clean and organized
  • Assist with event setups, snow removal, and general facility needs
  • Keep an eye on building and equipment systems and report any issues
  • Pitch in wherever needed to keep the arena running smoothly

Think Youโ€™ve Got What It Takes?

Weโ€™re looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, comfortable around machinery, and ready to get their hands a little dirty.

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driverโ€™s license preferred
  • Prior experience operating a Zamboni or Olympia resurfacer preferred, not required
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery a plus
  • Knowledge of ice refrigeration systems is a plus
  • Forklift or other machinery operation experience is a bonus
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and operate equipment responsibly
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in cold environments and on wet or slippery surfaces
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, and operate machinery for extended periods
