Job description

Job Title: Solution Architect
Location: West Point, PA or Rahway, NJ
 
Mandatory Skills: Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) and/or Zachman Framework
 
JD:
  •  10+ years’ Experience and a track record of success leading solution architecture from concept through solution delivery for enterprise software solutions
  • Technical thought leadership, sound understanding of the technological trends and a track record of success leading and driving transformation of application landscapes including but not limited to transition from client server to microservices/cloud-based solutions, data aggregation big data analytics, application integration, API design and implementation
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of applications, databases, hardware infrastructure platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering shared objectives in a matrix organization and global environment, including internal teams and external vendors/ partners − Understanding of IT processes, SDLC methodologies, and knowledge of regulatory landscape, with preference for experience in delivering and supporting validated systems
  • Worked with Lab Instrument or Shop Floor systems across a wide variety of research modalities such as imaging, chromatography, sequencing, robotics, and process control
  • Experience driving purposeful decision making on capability and last mile solutions across the value team
  • Experience making build-buy-assemble decisions as well as technology stack decisions
  • You will develop and evolve a vision for the suite of products that enable the generation and ingestion of research raw data from internal and external sources and the storage, management and lifecycle of these raw data in their repository of record
  • Experience managing vendor relationships
  • Practical experience applying enterprise architecture methodologies such as TOGAF and the Zachman Framework to IT programs as well as use of architecture toolsets (e.g. enterprise architect)
  • Experience with leading design, implementation of GxP/regulated solutions
