Job description

The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Mental Health Specialist to join our My Place program. The Mental Health Specialist will provide strength-based, trauma-informed care through one-on-one and group supervision and intervention. This position will work with young adults’ support by providing case management in areas such as academic support, career preparation, workforce development, financial management, home management/maintenance, health and risk prevention, and relationship/communication skills. The Mental Health Specialist will use a variety of skill sets to model, teach, and encourage young adults toward a successful discharge from the program.

Who you are:

  • You have a high school diploma, or GED.
  • You have three years of behavioral/mental health experience.
  • You have a QMHS certification, or are eligible for one.
  • You have an active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
