Job description

Salary: $80,000-$110,000

POSITION

The Youth Pastor provides vision, leadership, and relational shepherding for the middle and high school ministry of Crossroads Bible Church (CBC). Rooted in our mission to help people follow Jesus fully, this role combines strategic leadership with a deep heart for students and their familiescreating spaces where young people can know Jesus, grow in their faith, and share Him with others.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, teach, and disciple middle and high school students in a way that helps them grow in their faith and love for Jesus.
  • Plan and oversee weekly youth gatherings, small groups, retreats, and outreach events.
  • Build strong relationships with students and their families, serving as a mentor and encourager.
  • Recruit, train, and empower volunteerleaders to serve in Youth Ministry.
  • Oversight of all Youth Ministry staff.
  • Partner with church leadership to integrate studentsinto the life of the larger church body.
  • Provide pastoral care, guidance, and prayer support for students and families.
  • Manage the youth ministry budget and resources responsibly.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A clear and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Passion for sharing the gospel and discipling young people.
  • Strong biblical knowledge and ability to teach Gods Word in engaging and relevant ways.
  • Relational, approachable, and able to connect well with both students and parents.
  • Proven track record of effective leadership in youth ministry (paid or volunteer),at least 3-5 years.
  • Bachelors degree in ministry, theology, or related field. Masters degree preferred.

POSITION DETAILS

Full-time, 40-50 hours per week; Salaried; Exempt

Compensation package includes, medical, dental, vision, HSA, retirement contribution and match, life insurance, vacation accrual, sick leave, and 10 paid holidays

Office hours Monday through Thursday; Sundays required; occasional Friday and Saturday work depending on events.

Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday, as well as the week leading into each of these days are mandatory.
