About This Role

Countryside Learning Center in Rosendale, WI (in between Fond du Lac and Oshkosh) is looking to hire an Assistant Teacher to their team.

Come join a family oriented individually owned center that is working hard to meet a need within the community to provide children a safe and welcoming environment to grow to their full potential.

Countryside Learning Center is open 630am-530pm Monday-Friday besides major holidays.


What You'll Do
  • Interacting with children at their level which can include; the floor, table, or outside.
  • Assist children with their emotions when involving: sharing/ handling not getting their way.
  • Work with a co-teacher if/ when needed.
  • Follow a check list for daily items that need to be completed such as; wiping down the counter, and sanitizing toys, cleaning out the room.
  • Keeping the environment safe and clear of hazards.
  • Knowing whereabouts of all children within care.
  • Other tasks if/when needed.

Requirements
  • Assistant or Lead teacher qualifications through Wisconsin Registry. (if do not have, will assist in getting it)
  • CPR and First Aid (if do not have, will assist in getting it)
  • Shaken Baby/ Abusive Head Trauma/ Mandated Reporter, SIDS training. (if do not have, will assist in getting it)
  • Pass a Background Check
  • Pass Finger Printing
  • Able to get on the floor and interact with the children
  • Willing to complete 25 hours of continuing education each year
