Job description

Studio Coordinator

As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you support the CorePower Yoga studio experience by coordinating studio operations, maintaining health and safety standards, and teaching CorePower yoga classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an ambassador of CorePower Yoga values, inspiring them in students and staff.
  • Support the Studio Manager in achieving goals such as membership growth, retail sales, teacher recruitment, and program enrollment.
  • Schedule flexibility: 18‑29 hours per week in studio, including front‑desk guidance, health and safety protocol execution, and team support.
  • Serve as the point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is absent, up to 20 hours per week.
  • Maintain studio supply inventory and ensure cleanliness and amenities for students.
  • Greet students by name, promote student engagement, and foster community at the front desk.
  • Support teachers by operating the POS and completing pre/post‑class duties.
  • Uphold high standards for studio cleanliness, safety, temperature, and music, and communicate smart health protocols to students.
  • Support and train the Studio Experience Team (SET): interview applicants, schedule shifts, step in for absences, and conduct orientation training on cleanliness protocols.
  • Act as liaison between the Studio Manager and teaching and SET teams to communicate and coordinate operational systems (POS, reservation system, HRIS, help desk, scheduling).
  • Support studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6 CorePower Yoga classes per week and subbing additional classes as needed.
Skills & Experience
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills with professionalism and positive attitude.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Yoga Alliance certified 200‑hour program preferred; yoga sculpt teacher training preferred.
  • Familiarity with studio systems such as HRIS, intranet, point-of-sale, scheduling, payroll, and help‑desk systems.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse individuals and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Self‑starter, strong time‑management, and ability to prioritize under multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • College degree (BA/BS) preferred.
The Fine Print

Availability must match the studio’s needs—morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday shifts are required. You must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs. If certified to teach, you must be able to step in to teach a class on short notice.

Compensation: $31.00 per hour.
