ROLE SUMMARY

A CorePower Yoga (CPY) Yoga & Program Lead delivers an extraordinary experience through curating a welcoming environment for all and supporting growth for their students and peers. The focus of a Yoga & Program Lead is enrollment and facilitation of Teacher Training programs, along with teaching CPY aligned classes each week. In this full-time role, the Yoga & Program Lead is committed to expanding the CPY community and has a heart to lead, develop, and coach others to their fullest potential. This individual must be adaptable to change, strong in time management skills, and proficient in project execution. Ideally, this individual has prior coaching or facilitation experience and exhibits a passion for yoga learning and program development. This individual commits to weekly teaching, facilitation, and mentorship support of Teacher Training enrollees and peers. The Yoga & Program Lead cultivates supportive relationships by making themselves accessible and approachable, communicating effectively, and following through on tasks efficiently.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Reports to the Regional Yoga and Program Manager.

Provide Yoga instruction by teaching CorePower Yoga classes, adhering to CPY Yoga quality

standards

Standard working hours for this position are 30 Hours in-studio and 10 Hours remote work on

average per week with plans for upcoming weeks shared through Check-in Forms.

Teaching Classes (8 hours while leading program, 12 hours while not leading program)

o Actively teaches C2 and YS formats as an instructor, maintains an average of 4 classes

taught per week while leading programs and 6 classes taught per week when not leading

programs and actively enrolling. The yearly average of 5 classes taught per week.

Connection Classes (6 hours per week consistently to drive enrollment training and yoga

quality excellence)

o Attend a minimum of 3 connection classes per week (at a strategic class for program

enrollment, check in, hands on adjust, post class connection with students, class

experience feedback with glow/grow for the instructor)

Enrollment & Lead Generation Activities (6 hours per week during enrollment for

programs)

o Spearhead enrollment efforts for teacher training programs tomeetenrollment

benchmarks outlined for each program.

o Attend and lead the weekly program-level enrollment and facilitation meetings to

strategize meeting enrollment goals and excellence in facilitation of programs.

o Attend and support program enrollment and facilitation training.

Program Facilitation and Preparation (up to 16 hours per week when leading program)

o Coordinate and lead facilitation for in-studio teacher training sessions. Participate in

facilitation, coaching, and student mentorship for virtual teacher training sessions as

needed.

o Includes the 3.5 hours lead sessions, 30 minutes before and 30 minutes to prep the

session for 4.50 hours per session.

Additional Duties approved by RYPM and DM

o Support auditions for the needs of the market.

o Partner with Regional Yoga & Program Manager and studio leadership on coaching instudio yoga quality and teacher growth.

Act as a leader, provide support and guidance to students and studio teams.

Work cross functionally and communicate efficiently with the Regional Yoga & Head of Yoga,

andvirtual Teacher Training Teamas needed


EDUCATION, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

YA E-RYT 500 Hour Certified required with an active Yoga Alliance registration

Preferred 2+ years of teaching experience with CPY

Current CPR/AED certification required

Must be available to work a minimum of 40+ hours/week, inclusive of teaching time, including

evenings, weekends, and holidays, flexing to support the needs of the studio and teacher training

needs. Schedule is created in partnership with the Regional Yoga & Program Manager.

Must be 18 years or older

Excellent oral communication skills

Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills

Organized and able to work independently with little supervision

Ability to lead students in physical activity for a maximum 1.5 hours at a time

Ability to withstand exposure to heated classroom for the duration of class

Proficiency in computer applications

COMPENSATION

$3/hour additional hourly rate added to teaching rate for teaching and program hours.


THE FINE PRINT

Must be available to work a minimum of 40+ hours/week mornings, evenings and weekends as

the business needs

Standard working hours for this position are 30 Hours in-studio and 10 Hours remote work on

Must be able to take classes of all CPY formats to support program enrollment and Yoga quality

Ability to commute 100% of schedule within your market, and out of state for company events and

trainings

Must have reliable transportation to travel between Teacher Training studios daily (mileage

reimbursement available per our business expense policy)

Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs
