Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Arborist to join our growing team.
Duties:
  • We understand that experienced arborist vary the type of work they do on the team and we like to put you in a position to succeed!
  • Safely and productively lead a crew in providing arboricultural care for our clients.
  • Prepare for jobsite hazards and obstacles
  • Create a plan and decide which equipment will be used to complete job
  • Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopy
  • Install cables, bracing and lightning protection systems
  • Removal of hazardous trees
  • Mentor crew members through the Bratt Tree Arborist Development Program.
  • Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, bucket trucks, aerial lifts and more.

Skills:
  • Love of the outdoors
  • Ability to complete the First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
  • Strong knowledge of tree care practices and techniques
  • Proficient in all the equipment used to complete the tree service
  • Experience operating bucket trucks for elevated work
  • Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe branch and tree section removal
  • Ability to identify common tree species and recognize signs of disease or damage
  • Excellent physical fitness and stamina to climb trees and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
