A Year Round Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers and enforcing pool or waterfront rules throughout the entire year, rather than just during a specific season. They monitor water activities, perform rescues when necessary, and provide first aid or CPR if needed. Year-round lifeguards typically work in indoor aquatic facilities, such as community pools, recreation centers, or aquatic parks, where swimming operations continue throughout all seasons. They are usually part of a team of lifeguards and supervisory staff, collaborating to monitor swimmer safety, enforce facility rules, and maintain cleanliness.
