Job description

Yard Helper
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dependable Yard Helper for a brick and stone distribution facility. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing company that values teamwork, promotes from within, and offers steady overtime opportunities for employees who are ready to make an impact from day one. 
 
Pay Rate 
$20.00 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Overtime available
 
Yard Helper Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift safely to move brick, stone, and building materials throughout the yard.
  • Load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are handled properly and efficiently.
  • Organize inventory and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly yard environment.
  • Assist with staging materials and supporting daily yard operations.
  • Work indoors and outdoors as needed to meet operational demands.
Yard Helper Qualifications and Requirements
  • 1–2 years of forklift experience required.
  • Previous experience working in a yard environment with brick, stone, lumber, or building materials preferred.
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
  • Stable work history and dependable attendance required.
  • No felony convictions within the last 7 years.
