Hawkins-Graves, Inc. is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Hydraulic Service Coordinator to serve as the operational hub of our Hydraulic Service Center (HSC). This role is critical to ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient parts management, and seamless coordination between customers, technicians, vendors, and management.

What You'll Do

As the Hydraulic Service Coordinator, you will:

Customer Service & Parts Sales

  • Process customer parts orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist customers by phone, email, and in person.
  • Source parts and provide solutions when products are unavailable.
  • Maintain customer records and pricing information.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Inventory & Purchasing

  • Monitor inventory levels and place stock orders.
  • Manage vendor returns and warranty processes.
  • Track outstanding orders and shipments.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and reconciliation.

Shipping, Receiving & Logistics

  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain organized warehouse and stock locations.
  • Support parts deliveries and pickups as needed.

Administrative Support

  • Open, update, and close service work orders.
  • Maintain department files and records.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Support daily office operations and communications.

Team Coordination

  • Work closely with the Hydraulic Service Manager, Service Foreman, technicians, vendors, and customers.
  • Help improve department productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Support a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in parts sales, customer service, service operations, or a hydraulic/mechanical environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Basic computer and data-entry proficiency.

Preferred

  • Experience in hydraulics, construction equipment, heavy equipment, or industrial service operations.
  • Experience with inventory management systems or Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
  • Knowledge of parts sourcing, purchasing, and inventory control.
