Schedule: Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday with rotating after hours and weekend call.

The primary purpose of the Mobile Radiologic (X-Ray) Technician is to provide quality x-ray services to patients, typically receiving homebased or instructional care, to limit as much discomfort and inconvenience as possible resulting in the ability of primary physicians, radiologists, and family member to determine proper plans for care. 

 Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate images to allow physicians to diagnose patient illness by skillfully operating x-ray equipment
  • Clearly communicate with patient about expectations prior to taking x-ray
  • Secure copy of physician's order and patient fact sheet from nursing staff
  • Ensure operation of x-ray equipment by completing required preventative maintenance, following manufacturer's instructions
  • Assure that the patient receiving an x-ray is correct and matches the information provided by dispatch
  • Report any needs for supplies and equipment as it may be recognized
  • Comply with all state and federal regulations governing the education requirements in order to maintain your license
  • Utilize proper radiation protection techniques in assuring the safety of yourself, patient, and staff while performing x-ray or EKG
  • Clean and maintain vehicle and equipment to keep them in good working order
  • Must maintain a strict level of confidentiality

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and understand medical terminology and physician orders
  • Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Valid and unencumbered Radiologic Technician license in Washington  
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing
  • CPR Card

  Preferred Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

  • Operational experience of SR115 and SR130 x-ray machines with DR unit
  • Demonstrable proficiency in healthcare industry terminology and systems.
