Job description

Field Sales Representative – Telecom

Clarity Growth Solutions is hiring experienced Field Sales Representatives for residential telecom campaigns throughout Maryland and Washington, DC.

This is an in-person, field-based sales position focused on door-to-door residential prospecting and customer acquisition. We are looking for dependable, self-motivated sales professionals who are comfortable working independently in assigned territories while receiving ongoing training, coaching, and field support.

Prior door-to-door sales experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with successful outside or field sales experience in other industries are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation

Estimated annual earnings: $74,000–$183,000

This is a performance-based sales position with no guaranteed base salary.

W-2 representatives are paid through commissions and performance bonuses. Eligible W-2 representatives may also qualify for gas, phone, and vehicle stipends based on applicable program and performance requirements.

Qualified experienced representatives may also be considered for 1099 independent contractor opportunities under a separate contractor compensation structure.

Actual earnings vary based on individual sales performance, completed and qualified installations, product mix, and field activity. The advertised earnings range is an estimate based on production and is not a guaranteed salary.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect residential customers door-to-door within assigned territories

Qualifications

Prior door-to-door, outside, or field sales experience is preferred. There is no required minimum number of years of experience.

Previous telecom experience is helpful but not required. Relevant experience may include telecom, fiber, solar, pest control, roofing, home improvement, security, energy, or other residential outside sales.

Candidates should have experience prospecting for new customers and be comfortable presenting and closing sales face-to-face.

Successful representatives are self-motivated, goal-oriented, results-driven, coachable, dependable, and comfortable managing their daily field activity without constant supervision.

Reliable personal transportation is required for travel to and throughout assigned territories.

Bilingual skills are helpful in some territories but are not required.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment visa sponsorship is not currently available for this position.

Schedule and Work Environment

This is primarily a full-time field sales opportunity. Representatives should be available to work afternoons and evenings Monday through Thursday, with Friday and/or Saturday availability depending on territory needs and production goals.

The position requires regular work in residential neighborhoods during the hours customers are most likely to be home.

Representatives should be able to spend extended periods walking and standing, navigate normal residential steps, travel throughout assigned territories, and work outdoors in typical seasonal conditions. Reasonable accommodations will be considered as required by applicable law.

Clarity Growth Solutions operates residential telecom campaigns throughout Maryland and Washington, DC.

Depending on the assigned territory, representatives may work with internet, fiber, and mobile services from providers including Astound Broadband, Xfinity/Comcast, and Verizon.
