CE eCommerce Team Values & Principles
• Detail-oriented with AI-Augmented (AX) support - we use Claude, Gemini, and OpenAI daily.
• Results-driven: every decision is grounded in data, and every initiative ships with a measurable outcome.
• Innovative and experimentative - we test boldly, learn fast, and scale what works.
• AX transformation is embedded in all day-to-day activities; AI tools replace traditional reliance on static spreadsheets.
Role and Responsibilities
About This Opportunity
Samsung CE eCommerce is executing a 2030 growth plan anchored by the 5+5 model: a optimized Core DTC base on Samsung.com, plus Expansion Commerce - entirely new distribution channels that CE does not monetize today.
The Expansion Commerce portfolio spans two horizons: Established Partnerships (Marketplaces, Carrier Commerce, SMB/B2B2C) and White Space channels (Social Commerce, LLM/AI Commerce, FinTech, Sports & Gaming, Movers/Registries, Subscription/Services). Combined, this opportunity represents the single largest untapped growth lever in CE eCommerce.
The Sr. Manager, CE Expansion Business will own the execution and early business development of this entire portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to build a new commerce engine from the ground up at one of the world's most recognized consumer electronics brands.
Position Summary
The Sr. Manager, CE Expansion Business will serve as the de facto lead of Samsung CE's Expansion Commerce initiative - driving strategy, partner development, project execution, and go-to-market for all CE expansion channels. This role requires an operator who can simultaneously develop new partnership opportunities, manage the full project lifecycle from partnership signed to channel live, and build the operating infrastructure needed to scale a portfolio of channels. The successful candidate combines the strategic instinct of a business development leader with the organizational rigor of a program manager.
Roles & Responsibilities
EXPANSION BUSINESS STRATEGY & DEVELOPMENT
  • Own the CE Expansion Business strategy across both Expansion 1 (Marketplaces, Carrier, SMB) and Expansion 2 (Social Commerce, LLM/AI Commerce, FinTech, Sports Partnerships, Xbox Gaming, Zillow/Movers/Realtors, Subscription/Services/Post-Purchase) - developing business cases, sequencing channel prioritization, and aligning roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain an Expansion Commerce channel pipeline: qualifying new opportunities, sizing revenue potential, assessing complexity, and recommending prioritization to the Sr. Director.
  • Represent CE Expansion Business in LOB leadership reviews, CE WBR, and cross-functional strategic planning sessions - acting as the primary voice of the expansion portfolio.
  • Build the foundational go-to-market playbook for CE Expansion Commerce - defining launch sequencing, success metrics, and partner engagement models for each channel type.

PARTNER DEVELOPMENT & RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
  • Lead early-stage engagement with key expansion channel partners across Marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, eBay, Macy's), Carrier partners (Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T), Social platforms (TikTok Shop, Meta), FinTech partners (AMEX, PayPal, Affirm, Samsung Galaxy Card), and Sports/Gaming properties (Xbox, Zillow, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Legal on NDA, partnership framework, and contract terms for new channel agreements - ensuring commercial terms align with CE's revenue and margin targets.
  • Build and manage partner scorecards tracking launch readiness, milestone delivery, co-op compliance, and revenue performance for each active expansion partner.
  • Collaborate with Samsung corporate and LOB teams (MX, VD, DA) to identify cross-LOB expansion partnership opportunities and leverage existing Samsung partner relationships where applicable.

PROJECT & PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
  • Own the CE Expansion Business master project plan - managing active timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk logs across all expansion initiatives simultaneously.
  • Drive cross-functional project execution with Marketing, Legal, Finance, IT/Digital, Supply Chain, and Category Management - coordinating all workstreams required to take a channel from partnership signed to revenue-generating.
  • Build and manage channel-specific launch checklists, readiness scorecards, and go-live criteria - ensuring no channel launches without full cross-functional sign-off.
  • Proactively identify risks, escalate blockers, and drive resolution - maintaining momentum across a portfolio of projects at various stages of maturity.
  • Leverage AI/LLM tools (Claude, Notion AI, Asana AI, etc.) to manage program complexity, documentation, and reporting at scale.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT & PERFORMANCE REPORTING
  • Own Expansion Commerce financial modeling: build revenue forecasts, P&L estimates, and ROI analyses for each expansion channel - updated quarterly and in response to new partner commitments or market changes.
  • Partner with Sr. Manager, Financial Biz Planning & Ops to ensure expansion channel revenue is accurately forecasted in CE T-series submissions and reflected in CE WBR A/R reporting.
  • Track and report expansion channel performance vs. 2030 roadmap milestones: channels in pilot, channels live, revenue by channel, partner scorecard, and goal-pacing in the CE Weekly Business Review.
  • Develop post-launch performance analyses for each expansion channel - identifying optimization levers and surfacing recommendations to the Sr. Director.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
  • Serve as the primary cross-functional coordinator for all CE Expansion Business initiatives - owning the working relationship with Marketing, Legal, Finance, IT/Digital, Supply Chain, and Category Management.
  • Lead weekly Expansion Business working sessions: set agenda, drive decisions, capture actions, and hold stakeholders accountable.
  • Represent expansion business interests in LOB (VD/DA) and SEA leadership forums - preparing and delivering executive updates with clarity and confidence.
  • Design scalable operating cadences and documentation standards so the Expansion Business operates consistently as it grows from 2 active channels to 10+.

AI-AUGMENTED OPERATIONS (AX)
  • Lead adoption of AX (AI-Augmented) workflows within the CE Expansion team - implementing LLM tools to replace manual tracking, reporting, documentation, and analysis tasks.
  • Develop AI-native playbooks for partner onboarding, milestone tracking, and executive reporting that scale without linear headcount growth.
  • Stay current on emerging LLM Commerce use cases (LLM-driven shopping recommendations, conversational commerce, AI-powered demand forecasting) and evaluate relevance to CE Expansion channel strategy.

Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in eCommerce, business development, channel management, or a related field - with demonstrated ownership of multi-million-dollar business outcomes.
  • Proven track record managing multiple complex, cross-functional programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing and managing external business partnerships - including contract negotiation and commercial relationship management.
  • Strong financial acumen: ability to build channel-level P&L models, revenue forecasts, and ROI analyses.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - able to present complex business cases to SVP/VP-level audiences.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Jira, Monday.com, Notion, or equivalent) and data/analytics tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • Experience in consumer electronics, retail, or digital commerce - with familiarity across Marketplace, Social Commerce, Carrier, or FinTech partnership models.
  • Track record of building and scaling a new commerce channel or business line from inception to revenue.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization with LOB-level P&L accountability.
  • Familiarity with API/catalog integration processes for marketplace and social commerce platforms.
  • Proficiency with AI/LLM tools applied to business operations, strategy, and reporting.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
