RESUME DU TRAVAIL

Ce poste est principalement responsable de verifier la qualite des produits fabriques et de s'assurer que tous les produits sont exempts de defauts.  Il radiographie les pieces moulees, la partie de l'echantillon, recherche les defauts, les fissures ou la presence de corps etrangers. S'assure que tous les produits sont exempts de defauts et conformes aux exigences des clients et aux normes de qualite de Howmet en effectuant des tests non destructifs.

TACHES/RESPONSABILITES

  • Effectue des essais non destructifs pour assurer la qualite des produits et utilise la technologie a rayons X pour detecter les variations et les defauts.

  • Verifie les intensites de rayonnement.

  • Ajuste les commandes de l'equipement a rayons X sur la console pour prendre la radiographie.

  • Enleve et developpe le film.

  • Modifie et reconstitue la chimie photographique.

  • Prend des etalonnages quotidiens du processeur, du densitometre.

  • Maintient le stock necessaire de materiaux pour la zone afin de maximiser la productivite.

  • Effectue la mise en place des instruments de mesure.

  • X-Rays a attribue des pieces en fonction de la demande du client.

  • Applique les criteres d'essai conformement aux normes et specifications existantes.

  • Compile les resultats des tests et prepare des rapports.

  • Tient a jour les fichiers definis pour les rebuts et toute autre documentation requise.

  • Selectionne l'intensite du rayonnement et le type de film et determine la distance et le temps d'exposition en tenant compte de la taille, de la mobilite et de l'intensite des sources de rayonnement par rapport a la densite et a la mobilite de l'objet (selon les techniques etablies)

  • S'acquitter de toutes autres taches qui pourraient lui etre confiees.
