Job description

The group you'll be a part of In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry. The impact you'll make This role offers the opportunity to build and advance a career working with Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) in a semiconductor-focused environment.

Successful candidates will have hands-on experience with sample imaging techniques, including Cross-Section SEM (XSEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS/EDX), and sample cleaving. What you'll do Responsible for supporting a variety of semiconductor applications using Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) to image challenging structures. Experience imaging samples at the wafer level, including acquiring profile, sidewall, and topdown images using SEM.

Some experience with Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) analysis. Knowledge of SEM image optimization for a variety of materials. Ability to contribute to the development of Best Known Methods (BKM) for SEM imaging of new applications.

Ability to perform SEM alignments and correct basic fault conditions on metrology equipment. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively work with a large internal customer base. Who we're looking for An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work a shiftbased schedule as required. Preferred qualifications Associates degree, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in a technical field.

Experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, bioengineering, metrology, lab operations, or related areas. Handson Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) experience. Experience in semiconductor experience is a plus.
