In project settings, the NADCM partners with Project Commercial Managers and WSP's Alternative Delivery Team to help manage the flow of information, contract compliance, documentation, communications, and issue resolution throughout the pre- and post-award and construction phases of major Alternative Delivery projects.
Your Impact

  • Develop and maintain relationships with PCM, Project Accountant (and project control teams as appropriate) to provide the project team and business with sufficient support.
  • Develop and maintain best practices from the alternative delivery portfolio and teach/train PCMs.

Who You Are
You are an experienced commercial leader with proven background in large-scale project delivery, project controls, contract change management, and contractor claims management. You are a commercially-driven professional who understands how project management, contracts, risk, and financial performance align with business objectives. You are collaborative, analytical, and confident operating in fast paced and complex delivery environments that exist when working as the designer of record for a Design-Build contractor or a concessionaire.
Required Qualifications:

  • 15 years of relevant experience
  • Extensive experience supporting major infrastructure, aviation, transportation, and/or water/utility capital projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in construction contract change management, claims analysis, and commercial negotiations.
  • Strong background in project controls, cost forecasting, schedule analysis, and risk management.
  • Ability to produce and present executive-level cost, schedule, risk, contingency allocation, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience advising and influencing senior leadership and clients.
  • Experience delivering design-build, P3 and other alternative delivery models for large programs/projects.
  • Demonstrated high level of initiative and proactiveness in mitigating risks and recognizing resolutions.
  • Proficient in complex document interpretation, analysis, problem solving, and communication.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability that may have an impact on policies, procedures or the achievement of strategic goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in controlling and mitigating projects costs and risk exposure.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex contractual or technical information.
